project stemmed from a series of beaten frames I was blessed with
one day. In response to their hideousness, I tried to visually speculate
or joke on a particular pathos that might have accompanied the original
frame. It is decontextualization that causes us to fail at recognizing
the purity or logic of a world, and to instead see something entirely
odd or pathetic. In some of the previews, I ignored the actual frames. Who might have owned each picture when it was "in context" - and who owns it now? |
